Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Velent mobile application ("App") and related services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

Description of Services

Velent is a habit tracking and productivity application that helps users:

  • Create and manage daily, morning, night, and weekly routines
  • Track task completion and build streaks
  • Earn experience points (XP) and level up
  • Unlock achievements and rewards
  • Connect with friends and participate in challenges
  • View leaderboards and track progress

Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use our Services.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Services in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Impersonate or attempt to impersonate another person or entity
  • Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use of the Services
  • Use the Services to transmit any harmful, offensive, or objectionable content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Services
  • Use any automated means to access the Services without our permission
  • Interfere with the proper working of the Services
  • Manipulate or attempt to manipulate XP, levels, streaks, or achievements through fraudulent means

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload to the App, including routine names, task descriptions, notes, and images ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Services.

You are responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all necessary rights to submit it. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

Social Features and Challenges

When using social features, you agree to:

  • Interact respectfully with other users
  • Not harass, bully, or send unwanted communications to other users
  • Not share inappropriate or offensive content in challenges or public features
  • Accept that challenge results and leaderboard rankings are determined by our systems

We reserve the right to moderate social interactions and remove users who violate community standards.

Intellectual Property

The Services and all content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software) are owned by Velent and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise use any content from the Services without our prior written consent.

Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with or contain links to third-party services (such as calendar apps or media platforms). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from using the Services will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in the Services will be corrected

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VELENT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Services
  • Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any content or conduct of any third party on the Services
  • Any loss of streaks, XP, achievements, or other in-app progress

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Velent, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Services at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Velent operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
